What is the process and timescales involved?

Schools can register now for the academic year 2009-2010 by contacting CEM.

Materials are sent to the named school contact for assessment implementation. INSIGHT computer-delivered assessments  can be administered online or installed onto your school’s network. Assessments are taken at the end of Year 8/9 in April – May; prompt feedback follows shortly afterwards.

How does INSIGHT link to other CEM systems?

Users of MidYIS will also receive value-added measures from the CEM MidYIS baseline to CEM INSIGHT at the end of Year 8/9: a measure of progress for the lower part of secondary school. Users of CEM’s primary systems will also be able to track student progress right through school as CEM can now provide longitudinal tracking feedback.
